Google Ads Management

Google Ads, run against the revenue they actually produce.

Google Ads rewards accounts with honest conversion data, a tight structure, and landing pages that match the search. We build all three, then manage the account week by week so every dollar in it has a job.

What does Google Ads management include?

Everything it takes to turn searches into customers, run as one program instead of a set of disconnected settings:

  • Account and campaign structure built around how your customers search, with tightly themed ad groups and negative keywords maintained every week.
  • Conversion tracking set up correctly in Google Ads and GA4, including phone calls and form leads, so bidding learns from real customers.
  • Landing pages that match the ad, or fixes to the pages you already have.
  • Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns, plus AI Max where your data can support it.
  • Weekly search-term reviews, bid strategy adjustments, and budget pacing.
  • Plain-language monthly reporting tied to leads and revenue, with full access to your account.

Which Google Ads campaign types do we run?

The right mix depends on what you sell and how much conversion data you have. Most accounts start with Search and add the rest as the data matures.

Google Ads campaign types
Campaign typeBest forHow we use it
SearchService businesses and high-intent searchesThe core of most accounts: tightly themed keywords with ads and landing pages that match.
ShoppingE-commerce product salesDriven by a clean product feed in Google Merchant Center, with titles and attributes tuned for search.
Performance MaxBrands with solid conversion data and creativeOne campaign across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Gmail, and Maps, guarded with brand exclusions and asset reviews.
AI Max for SearchGrowing reach from existing Search campaignsAn opt-in layer that matches more searches and tailors ad text. We turn it on where tracking is strong enough to steer it.

Do Google Ads show up in AI Overviews and AI Mode?

Yes. Ads from Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns can now appear inside Google's AI Overviews, and Google is testing ads in AI Mode. Advertisers can't target those placements directly or opt out of them. Eligibility comes from campaign settings like broad match, AI Max, Performance Max, and Shopping, and Google decides when an ad fits the answer.

That shifts the work toward the inputs Google's systems read: clean conversion data, strong ad copy, complete product feeds, and landing pages that answer the question. We cover the full picture across ChatGPT, Google, and Microsoft on our AI search ads page.

Why does conversion tracking come first?

Smart Bidding learns from the conversions you feed it. If your account counts page views as leads, misses phone calls, or double-counts purchases, Google optimizes toward the wrong thing and gets very good at it. We audit and fix tracking before we scale spend, and we keep checking it against your CRM or store data after launch.

How fast does Google Ads produce results?

Search campaigns can produce leads in the first few weeks, but the first one to three months are a learning period: finding which searches convert and cutting the ones that don't. Commit to a real test budget for at least three months before judging the channel, and expect the account to get more efficient as the data builds.

Google Ads for Tampa Bay businesses

Local campaigns live or die on geography and call handling. We set location targeting around the areas you actually serve, schedule ads for the hours someone can answer the phone, and track calls as conversions, so a Brandon plumber isn't paying for clicks from Clearwater. Our post on how much to spend on Google Ads in Tampa walks through the budget math.

FAQs

Your questions, answered.

How much should we spend on Google Ads?

Enough to collect real data for at least three months. The right number depends on your cost per click and what a customer is worth to you. We work the math with you before you spend, and we'll tell you if a budget can't win.

Will you work in our existing Google Ads account?

Yes. You keep ownership of the account and its history. We audit what's there, keep what works, and restructure what doesn't.

What's the difference between Search and Performance Max?

Search shows text ads to people typing specific queries, with tight control over keywords. Performance Max uses one campaign to reach people across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Gmail, and Maps, with Google choosing the placements. Most accounts do best with Search first and Performance Max once conversion data is solid.

Should we use AI Max for Search?

It depends on your data. AI Max can find searches your keywords miss and tailor your ad text, but it needs strong conversion tracking to steer it. We test it on campaigns where tracking is clean and watch the search terms closely.

Can our ads appear in Google's AI Overviews?

They can, through Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns. Google decides when an ad fits an AI answer; advertisers can't buy that placement on its own.

How do you report on Google Ads?

Monthly, in plain language: what we spent, what it produced in leads and revenue, and what we're changing next. You also keep full access to the live account and dashboards.
