To the people keeping Tampa Bay going,

Omar and I started OJ Amplify from scratch. No investors, no outside money, just our own savings and the work in front of us. Everything since has come from this community: a referral, an introduction, someone deciding to take a chance on two guys building something. We get to do this because Tampa Bay gave first.

This community built our business. OJ Gives is how we build back.

I grew up here. I've watched this city change block by block, watched neighborhoods struggle and come back and grow into something new. This is home. Supporting the people who hold it up is not a side project to me. It's the point.

And this part is personal for both of us. Money was tight when we were kids. We know what it looks like when a family needs help and doesn't know where to look. The hard truth is that the help usually exists: food programs, tutoring, recovery support, family services. What's missing is the connection. When a nonprofit can't be found online, the people who need it most never learn it's there.

That's the gap OJ Gives exists to close. A small cohort every year, chosen from these applications, and we build. Not a lighter version of our client work. The same thing, at no cost. Because when you're easier to find, your help goes further.
